Volunteers are an essential part of our hospice team. Just an hour or two a week can provide extraordinary compassion and support.
Hospice touches many lives, including patients’ loved ones. Sometimes those caregivers and family members are moved to become hospice volunteers.
Trained volunteers play a crucial role in our team’s approach to patient care. Some help families by running errands, preparing light meals, or sitting with patients so that caregivers get a much-needed break. Some can offer specific professional or clerical skills, while others bring only a desire to serve.
CompassionCare Hospice welcomes volunteers of all ages, faiths, and backgrounds. The need is urgent, and the emotional and spiritual rewards can be profound. If you’d like to discuss our volunteer opportunities, please call our Volunteer Coordinator at one of our locations or complete the Volunteer Interest Form below!
