National Nursing Home Week

National Nursing Home Week, beginning each year on Mother’s Day, was established by the American Healthcare Association in 1967. This week of recognition provides an opportunity for residents and their families, staff, volunteers, and surrounding communities to recognize the role of skilled nursing facilities in caring for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

This year’s theme, “The Spirit of America” captions the bond between staff, volunteers and residents that take in the American spirit. Different people and cultures embody our skilled nursing centers throughout America and acts of generosity, compassion and kindness happen on a daily basis. As this  celebrated week comes to a close, CompassionCare would like to recognize all of the nursing homes throughout our Las Vegas communities and thank the individuals who work here, helping take care of those in need.

We appreciate you and all you do!
