Thank you, Fabiola!
For our second CNA spotlight in honor of National Nursing Assistants Week, we would like to recognize Fabiola Church! We are proud to call Fabiola a part of the CompassionCare Hospice team. Her dedication to her patients is exactly what it’s all about.
“My name is Fabiola, and I am a Certified Nursing Assistant. From an early age, I knew that I wanted to be a caregiver. Growing up in a large family I often found myself taking care of the everyday bumps and bruises of my siblings, helping the grown-ups and our elderly. I love helping people and consider myself lucky to be a CNA with CompassionCare. They have provided me with a platform to express myself through my care. I have the privilege of building relationships with my patients and families, seeing them smile when I arrive makes my day!”
What a Hospice CNA Does
It takes a truly special person to be a hospice CNA. The job description says it’s providing personal care for patients, such as bathing and changing clothing. But it’s so much more than that. The quality care CNAs like Fabiola provide goes above and beyond. Being a hospice CNA means becoming part of the family. They care for their patients as though they are their own family, and they do so with incredible compassion and dedication. CNAs are a vital part of the hospice team, and we are lucky to have Fabiola – and all the CompassionCare Hospice CNAs – on our team!
