National Nursing Assistants Week
Each year, National Nursing Assistants Week is celebrated June 17-24, giving us an opportunity to show our appreciation for the compassionate care CNAs provide. In honor of the celebration, we are shining a spotlight on some of the incredible CNAs we are lucky enough to work with on a daily basis, starting with Donna Kendle-Bell.
In Donna’s Words
“I’ve been with CCH for almost 3 years. I became a CNA in 2002 and worked in Skilled Nursing Facilities until I moved to Las Vegas in 2006. I then worked at the hospital for 1 year and then a skilled facility for 4 years, where I learned about the gift of hospice. I went to work for hospice and had 7 years of hospice experience when I joined CCH.
Some of my favorite parts of what I do is being there to help people that need help, may it be a shower, bed bath, dressing, etc., and conversation and companionship is the best, because I get to learn more about my patient, not just their illness. Working at CCH is not just a job for me, I really enjoy working for this company. It gives me the opportunity to care for people in their last days, and treat my patients as if they were my family.”
Thank You, Donna!
Thank you, Donna, for all you do to care for your patients as though they are your own family! Your passion for what you do is inspiring, and we are so thankful to have you on our team.
