CompassionCare is celebrating our amazing CNA’s in honor of Nursing Assistant’s Week. Today we highlight Donna, and learn about her passion for hospice.
“My name is Donna and I’ve been a CNA for 16 years. My Grandmother was my inspiration to become a nursing assistant, I wanted to be able to care of her in the best way possible. After I relocated to Las Vegas, I worked in the hospital, then skilled nursing and rehabilitation. Then I found my real passion, Hospice. I know that many of my patient’s and families have fear about the journey they are on, and I love being there for them through their last days, helping in any way possible. Sometimes even the smallest thing that you do means so much, and that is very fulfilling for me.”
